Common reasons posts fail (and how to fix them)
| Meta error | What it means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Token expired | Your IG/FB session timed out | One-click re-auth from the alert email or dashboard |
| Image too small | Image below Meta\'s 320×320 min | Replace the image (FeedCrew suggests a fix) |
| Image aspect ratio | Outside IG\'s 0.8–1.91 ratio | Crop in FeedCrew\'s editor |
| Caption too long | Over 2,200 chars | Trim in FeedCrew (we warn you while composing) |
| Too many hashtags | Over 30 | Remove some in the caption editor |
| Rate limit | Meta\'s throttle for your account | FeedCrew auto-reschedules to the next available slot |
What FeedCrew does behind the scenes
- Validates the post against all Meta requirements before scheduling (size, ratio, length).
- At publish time, sends the post via Meta\'s Graph API.
- If Meta returns an error, retries 3 times over 30 minutes (network glitches usually resolve).
- If still failing, surfaces the error in the dashboard with a one-click fix path.
- For token expirations, nudges you 7 and 1 days in advance to re-authenticate.
